Yläkaupungin Yö is the biggest and the most beautiful festival in Central Finland. The beloved event spreads out all over inner city Jyväskylä once more.
All programs troughout the weekend are completely free of charge. You can find the heart of the festivities at the uptown area, near the University of Jyväskylä.
Yläkaupungin Yö is a free multi-artistic city festival, which has been organized since 1992. The event is organized by Yläkaupungin Yö ry. Read more about the event.

Membership is perpetual, it does not bind to anything and can always be cancelled. The membership fee is not collected annually, but by paying it on a yearly basis you can get different benefits, such as members’ events and discounts on possible entry fees at events that are separate from the main event.
