Jere Valkonen is a Jyväskylä-based songwriter, whose music is a distinctive combination of folk, indie and alternative rock. His songs have a tendency to slip beyond the mundane to map out the hazy undercurrents of the universe. Valkonen’s debut album was released in 2020 and at the moment he is working on his second LP and performs acoustic live at Yläkaupungin Yö with his skillful duo partner Henry Lightfoot.
