Post. is the fifth entirely self-produced production by the Puskakollektiivi. Post. explores the possibilities of stage performance in posthumanist representation, moving somewhere between modern naivety, postmodern nihilism and the irrepressibility of the troupe.
Humanity has just destroyed itself in one way or another. Water submerges the dry land, individual trees totter amidst the destruction, and the swamp conceals thousands of years of memories within. Memories of people, I mean. In the middle of the swamp, another representative of this past life form hangs in the balance. The one that still refuses to let go of what was once promised to it.
THE ONE: When will this blaming stop? Am I dead?
SWAMP: Death is so relative
WATER: Terribly humane problems, both guilt and death.
SWAMP: Death is life. Life, you see.

Puskakollektiivi is a self-driven and unstoppable theatre company of eight women from Jyväskylä, founded in 2017. It makes self-expressive performing art on topics that the group is interested in at any given moment. The members of the Puskakollektiivi script, direct, act and produce their work entirely by themselves. In its six years of existence, the company has been praised for its insight into the phenomena it deals with.
